Most driveways in Framingham don't fail because of the asphalt — they fail because of what's underneath. Thin base, no drainage pitch, and one skinny lift of blacktop is why a five-year-old driveway looks twenty.
We build the base first. That's why our installs stay smooth while the cheap job down the street is already alligator-cracked.
What's included
Full excavation and haul-away
Old asphalt, roots, and soft soil come out and leave the property. Nothing gets paved over and hidden.
8" compacted reclaimed base
Processed gravel installed in lifts and rolled to spec, so frost heave has nowhere to move your driveway.
Two-lift hot-mix asphalt
A 2" binder course plus a 1.5" top course, laid hot and compacted with a 3-ton roller for a tight, sealed surface.
Proper pitch and hand-cut edges
Water is graded away from your garage and foundation, and edges are hand-cut and rolled so they don't crumble under tires.
Aprons, transitions, and cleanup
Clean tie-ins at the street and garage slab, lawn edges raked and seeded, and the site swept before we leave.
5-year written workmanship warranty
Covering cracking, settling, and drainage failure caused by our work — in writing, on your quote.

Questions we get asked
- How long does a new driveway installation take?
- Most two-car residential driveways are a one- to two-day job. Tear-out and base prep on day one, paving on day two. You can walk on it immediately and park on it after about 48 hours in warm weather.
- Can I get a new driveway installed in winter?
- Hot-mix asphalt needs ground temperatures around 50°F or above to compact correctly, so we install April through early November in Massachusetts. Winter is the right time to book and lock in a spring date.
- Do I need a permit in Framingham?
- Work that touches the town apron or right of way typically needs a street-opening permit. We handle the paperwork and inspections as part of the job.
